Hyperlinked exhibits

Remote depositions

“To avoid the entire legal system crashing to a halt, courts, attorneys and parties have had to adapt.”
A recent article published by Law360: “As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, standard operating procedures have been turned upside down, and in-person depositions have become the exception rather than the norm. Because remote depositions work better than many expected they would and have resulted in unanticipated benefits, they will likely remain, even after COVID-19 passes.“
Let ARV focus on the technology so you can focus on your case, your client, and your strategy.
1. ARV will contact all parties to ensure they have the appropriate technology for your deposition (or meeting).
2. The day before, ARV will perform a readiness test at each location and email log-in information to each participant.
3. Participants will be ready to log on via their computer, iPad, or smartphone. ARV technicians will be available, ready to provide tech support if needed.
Certified Realtime Reporters
More certified realtime reporters than any other firm in Idaho.
A CRR (Certified Realtime Reporter) guarantees you a better court reporter. That’s the simple truth. We have the skills and experience to stand out from the crowd.
You won’t find more highly credentialed court reporters anywhere in the state of Idaho. Owner Andrea Wecker’s own accomplishments set the bar high. Our reporters know the high standards they are expected to meet, and they do.
At ARV, credentials matter.
Streaming Realtime
(Remote Realtime)
Technology has evolved.
You’re likely familiar with on-site realtime displayed in the room on a tablet or laptop. That same realtime feed can be sent via the Cloud (“streaming realtime”) so that anyone, anywhere can see the same realtime display you see on-site.
Easy-to-use streaming software allows an offsite member of your team to access the spoken testimony in real time – from anywhere in the world. Co-counsel or an expert witness can monitor your deposition in real time.
A high-end service available on demand from the talented professionals at Associated Reporting & Video!
Audio & Video Transcription
Your files are in good hands.
Audio and video recordings are transcribed by an experienced local professional. At ARV we know our transcribers personally. Your files will never be sent overseas to an unknown typist.
We want to earn your trust.
ARV’s owner, Andrea Wecker, has top-secret (TSCI) clearance. When we say we understand our obligation to protect the confidentiality of your recordings, we mean it.

CART services
A real benefit for a hard-of-hearing witness
CART service (communication access realtime translation), a personal captioning aid, allows people who are hard of hearing or late-deafened to participate in proceedings like depositions. A CART captioner is a realtime stenographic reporter with specialized training. In a deposition or courtroom, she’ll capture the dialog, with the words appearing instantly on a computer screen or tablet. Think captions on TV!
Late-deafened individuals, really anyone with a significant hearing loss, will appreciate the communication assistance provided by CART. With the full verbatim text of your questions scrolling in realtime on a tablet in front of the witness, your questions won’t be misunderstood or misheard. No time wasted on repeated readbacks.
Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifies what accommodations must be made for individuals with disabilities. CART is an approved accommodation for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
For captioning and CART services, contact ARV’s sister company at IdaCaption.com.
